Tom Gordon
co-Founder & CEO
Tom Gordon has over 30 years of experience building and managing innovative technology companies. He has founded several companies and raised over $30 million in private equity from angels and venture capital firms. Tom was one of the founders of SynXis, the first Internet-based hotel reservation system later purchased by Sabre Holdings. He has held a number of leadership positions, and most recently was the COO for Causam Enterprises, and before that, VP of Software Engineering for OpenText Corporation. Tom is a licensed securities principal, with an M.B.A. from Vanderbilt University, and a B.S. in Management Science from Virginia Tech. He is a Board member of the Open Cap Table Coalition, driving global innovation in the legal and financial technology space.
William Duckett
co-Founder & COO
William Duckett is a licensed securities principal with 12+ years’ experience in financial services, software, and private business operations. He began his career at a $4B hedge fund-of-funds where he focused on fund operations, investor relations, and compliance-oriented due diligence for underlying managers and their trading practices. Prior to Equity Shift, Will led a consulting initiative to transform the international supply chain for a luxury fashion brand with $250M in annual revenue. At Equity Shift, he leverages his skillset to expand the company’s reach with prospective investors and clients, as well as building the operational and compliance processes necessary to succeed in a regulated industry. Will holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School where he focused on driving technological innovation within regulated industries, and a B.A. in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a member of the Open Cap Table Coalition and the Operators Guild.
Lorie Coulombe
SVP, Marketing
Lorie Coulombe is a senior marketing executive with more than two decades of experience leading marketing and communications strategies. She has a proven track record in brand development, content marketing, demand creation and leading high-impact teams. Lorie was most recently the EVP of Marketing at Q4, Inc. Prior to Q4, Lorie was the Head of Marketing at CartaX, and before that, led Marketing at Nasdaq Private Market and Nasdaq IR Intelligence. Earlier in her career, she was a member of Investor Relations teams at prominent public and private equity firms, gaining foundational experience in financial communications and stakeholder engagement. Lorie holds an M.B.A. in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business, and a B.A. in Economics from Vassar College.
Colby Hagen
VP, Customer Success
Colby Hagen is a seasoned executive with over two decades of experience in client success, operations, and strategic leadership, particularly within the financial markets. He has held senior roles across organizations such as The Expert Institute, IHS Markit, Ipreo, and Acupay. He has a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing customer success teams, driving client retention, and delivering measurable growth across global organizations. Most recently, Colby served as Senior Vice President and Head of Customer Success at The Expert Institute, where he led strategic efforts to enhance client engagement and drive business growth. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Congressional Aide, building a solid foundation in policy and legal analysis.
Colby holds a Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law and a Bachelor of Science from Ithaca College.
Jeff Mannion
VP, Compliance Programs
Jeff has over a decade of business, compliance, and legal experience across a wide range of industries. At Equity Shift, he focuses on accelerating compliance and internal governance program expansion to support the company’s continued growth. Previously, Jeff led operations-related programs and initiatives at a Fortune 50 legal department, consulted on regulatory compliance for public sector entities, and served as an appellate law clerk in the New Jersey Judiciary. He holds an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law, and a B.A. from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
